Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Finding Internships. By using the service, you agree to use job information and outreach features responsibly and lawfully.

The service

Finding Internships can publish normalized internship listings, store private saved and application states, import one legacy tracker export, search public professional-profile results, assist with contact enrichment, generate drafts, send emails after explicit approval, update a Google Sheets CRM, and detect replies. The service does not guarantee that job availability, deadlines, job descriptions, public-profile data, email addresses, AI-generated drafts, delivery results, or reply classifications are accurate.

Account access

Use the sign-in methods enabled on this site to identify your account. When Clerk authentication is selected, its configured verification and an active matching identity are required. Existing Google workspace linking requires proof of Google ownership, not just an email match. Connecting Gmail and Sheets remains a separate permission. When legacy Google authentication and additional signup email verification is enabled, new users must explicitly confirm the emailed link in the original signup browser before entering. Ordinary verified signup does not require owner approval. Opening a link or checking status alone does not create an authenticated session. Access may still be denied or revoked to protect users, data, providers, or service reliability. Existing registered identities retain their defined legacy access. Administrator permissions are separately configured; ordinary signup never grants them.

Your responsibilities

• Verify important job details, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and application status with the original employer or posting source.
• Review every recipient, email address, subject, and message before sending, and confirm whether a resume should be attached.
• Use the service only for lawful outreach and comply with applicable anti-spam, privacy, employment, and consumer-protection laws.
• Do not use the service for bulk spam, harassment, deception, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, or automated LinkedIn messaging or scraping.
• Provide only information and credentials you are authorized to use, and keep your Google and provider accounts secure.
• Comply with the terms and usage limits of Google, Tavily, Hunter, your selected AI provider, and other connected services.

User-controlled actions

Discovery, enrichment, and drafting do not send an email. A message is sent only after you review and approve the exact draft. You are responsible for messages sent through your Gmail account and for confirming uncertain delivery outcomes in Gmail. Resume attachments are off by default and are included only when you select the attachment option during final review.

Third-party services and costs

Apollo integration is not live or authorized merely because this application supports a key adapter. Apollo API Terms section 3 require authorization of this product integration and access through third-party credentials. The server gate remains off pending that authorization; an approved arrangement may require registered-partner OAuth instead. User consent or a saved key cannot replace Apollo's approval.

Contact preparation may make one ordinary selected email lookup, one basic Tavily person-research search, and one selected drafting-model request when no reusable stage outcome exists. Current Apollo plans may charge 1 credit for demographics or email even without finding an email; legacy prices differ. Phone, personal-email reveal and waterfall options are off. Check Apollo pricing and eligibility. Regeneration reuses saved lookup/research, with no automatic retries or provider/model switches. Explicit stage retries can spend again; an interrupted request may still finish or be billed. Verify the dated sources and exact saved recipient/draft yourself before final approval.

The service depends on third-party platforms and APIs. Their availability, policies, quotas, pricing, and outputs are outside Finding Internships's control. Unless expressly stated otherwise, you are responsible for charges associated with your own API keys and Google account.

Cited people search is optional and disabled by default. If you select Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic, the service uses only that provider's configured API key and model only when you explicitly click Find more with AI or Retry with AI. Tavily is not rerun for these actions. Search and ordinary Retry use Tavily only, with no automatic AI top-up. The selected provider may charge for web search tool use and model tokens, and tool availability depends on the model and account. The service makes one bounded request, does not automatically retry or switch providers, requires direct citations, and keeps every accepted result behind your approval before enrichment or drafting.

Job adverts sourced from Adzuna are identified as Adzuna and display a linked Jobs by Adzuna attribution on the advert card. Users should review the original source listing and the external provider's terms before applying.

Availability and changes

The service may be changed, interrupted, rate-limited, or discontinued. Access may be suspended when necessary to prevent abuse, protect data, comply with provider requirements, or maintain system security.

No warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-generated content and discovered contact data must be independently reviewed before use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, missed opportunities, provider charges, account restrictions, or claims arising from messages a user chooses to send.
